Craig Costello, 67 of Auburn passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at his home.
He was born December 19, 1956 in Jacksonville, the son of Frank and Joan Hodapp Costello. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steve.
Craig loved being a lineman retiring from RECC after 30 years. He was a committed volunteer of the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight where he assisted multiple veterans in visiting the Washington DC monuments built in their honor. He took pride in restoring his Korean War era 1952 Dodge M37 of which he won multiple best in show.
Craig was a dedicated grandfather and loved sharing his passions with his grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Zach (Tiffany) Costello and Chris (Cayti) Costello; two grandchildren, Riley and Jameson; four brothers, Roger Costello, Jim Costello, Kent (Brenda) Costello and Bruce (Cindy) Costello.
Visitation will be held from 2pm till 4pm, Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn. A monument will be placed in Oak Wood Cemetery, Greenfield.
