Connie (Hawkins) Michelich

Connie (Hawkins) Michelich of Auburn passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. She was born February 28, 1955 to Mildred “Jackie” and William Hawkins. She was proceeded in death by her parents and sister, Shirley Hawkins.

Connie married her loving husband, Joe Michelich on June 14, 1997 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn.

Connie worked at South County Publications in Auburn for almost 40 years until she passed. 

Surviving are her husband, Joe; two sons, Richard Schwartz II (Amy) and Sean McAuliff (Julia); daughter Adrienne Bond; seven grandchildren, Arin and Madelyn McCaherty; Ricky, Aly, and Johnny Schwartz; and Elliott and Lindley McAuliff; as well as two brothers, Russ and Dale Hawkins.

Visitation will be from 10am till time of services at 12noon, Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn.  Burial will follow at Auburn Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow the burial at 1:00 pm at Edgewood Golf Course, 16497 Kennedy Road, Auburn, IL.
