Charles E. "Charlie" Welsh

Charles E. “Charlie” Welsh, 88 of Divernon passed away Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born Aug.9, 1933 in Farmersville, the son of John and Georgie Whitaker Welsh.

He married Ellene Visser in 1957 and she preceded him in death in 2006.  Also preceded in death by one son, Larry and one sister, Jane Clevenger.

Surviving are one son, Barry (Lisa) Welsh; four grandchildren, Kristin (Jordon) Harris, Breanne (Colin) Liss, Karley (Jimmy) Winters and Hailey Welsh; four great-grandchildren, Braxton, Brynley, Gentry and Braylynn; one sister, Etta Horn; two brothers, Jack (Sandy) Welsh and Mike (Sue) Welsh; brother-in-law, Joe Clevenger; daughter-in-law, Loretta Welsh; several nieces and nephews.

Per CDC and the Governor’s mandate, masks are required in the building. 

Visitation will be from 9:30am till time of services at 11am, Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at Bramley Funeral Home, Divernon.  Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon.
