Obituary

Carolyn M. Newenham of Springfield, formerly of Divernon passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield.

She was born Jan. 10, 1938 in Springfield, the daughter of Harold and Hazel Ramey Barrow.

She married Gene Newenham in July 9, 1955 and he preceded her in death in 1998.

Surviving are three sons, Chris (Keri) Newenham, Robert (Francisca) Newenham and Brian Newenham; one daughter, Desiree (Mike) Brown; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Beverly Patton.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022 at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield with Randy Williams officiating.
