Carl Hannon

Carl Hannon, 80 of Virden passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 17, 1941, the son of Robert and Hallie Hannon.  He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Fred Pratt, James Pratt, Robert Pratt and Virginia Pratt-Algood.

Carl worked for the State of Illinois as a security guard for 28 years.  He enjoyed playing cards, was a diehard Cubs and Bears fan and spending time with his family.

Surviving are three daughters, Cheryl (Dave) Knudson of Thayer, Penny (Scott) Yemm of Virden, and Chris (Dan Brill) McClintock of Chatham; six granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; sister, Joann Cain of Manchester, IA; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 26, 2021 at 11am at Virden Cemetery.
