Brittain Cameron

Brittain Cameron, 44 of Springfield passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024 at her home.

She was born October 27, 1980 in Springfield, the daughter of Cliff and Cheryl Allen Cameron. Brittain was preceded in death by her maternal grandma, Shirley Allen; paternal grandparents, Don and Esther Cameron; Ken Murphy; and several other family members.

Brittain graduated from Girard High School in 1999. She had two bachelor’s degrees from SIUE and UIS in Criminology and Psychology. Her daughter Ellie was her world, and she loved her very much. She also, loved God, the Cubs and her dog, Annabelle. Brittain loved everyone and was willing to help anyone in need.

Surviving are her daughter, Ellie Grace Dixon; parents, Cliff and Cheryl Cameron; two sisters, Stephanie (Thomas) Marshburn and Emily (Justin) Cornett; one brother, Michael (Lindsey Birdsell) Cameron; four nieces and nephews, Carson, Rylie, Harrison, and Beckett; maternal grandpa, Leroy (Joyce) Allen; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10am till time of services at 11:30am, Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn. Burial will be in Virden Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
