Barbara J. Sage

Barbara J. Sage, 95 of Tallula passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 31, 1929 in Elgin, IL; the daughter of Herschel and Eleanor Atkinson Cass.

Barbara married Keith Sage on September 4, 1969 in Waukegan and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2012.  Also, preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Brown and Donna Wolford and six brothers, Jimmy Cass, Jack Cass, John Cass, Don Cass, Billy Cass and Herschel Cass.

She loved animals of all kinds and flowers.

Surviving are special nephews, Pat (Janet) Brown, Mike (Terry) Cass and a niece, Lisa (Kylie Babb) Cass and their son, Henry and several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10:30am till time of services 11:30am, Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn with Rev. David Van Bebber officiating.  Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery. 

Memorials may be made to the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Rd, Springfield, IL 62702.
