Obituary
Augusta Blanche Marbold, 99 of Divernon was called home Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
She was born January 13, 1924 in Divernon, the daughter of Glen and Augusta Branson Cincebox.
Blanche met her loving husband, Benjamin Marbold, at John W. Hobbs where they both worked for seven years. They married on June 5, 1949. He preceded in death on September 30, 2017. She was also preceded in death by five siblings.
She worked for the Illinois State Police for 30 years. She loved her grandkids dearly and helped them any way she could. She loved betting on the Kentucky Derby.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda (Dorse) Taylor and Connie Marbold Walker; four grandchildren, Scott (Michele) Johnson, Kimberly (Peter) Orlebeke, Jeffery Walker and Benji (Emily) Taylor; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10am till time of services at 11am, Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Bramley Funeral Home, 150 Reichert Rd, Divernon with Rev. David Van Bebber officiating. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery in Divernon.
