Dearest Helen and Family,
It is only by chance that I see this now; another passing caused me to be at the site where I noticed the name, the young man, and the town.
I am so very, very sorry for your loss. You have my tears...my prayers.
Eternal rest grant unto him... Peace & Strength be with you all.
~ Great Love ~

So sorry to hear of your loss in Patrick's passing. I was out of town and just heard. I know how devastated my parents were when my brother passed. I pray God strengthens you during this most difficult time.

I cannot imagine the feelings of losing a child. It takes your breath away. I didn't know Patrick but from reading all of the messages, he was an excellent young man who's life was cut short. When you don't have the words, simply don't say anything. God knows what it in your hearts and he is carrying you right now for as long as you need. Allow yourselves to grieve and enjoy your memories of your son, brother, grandson, nephew, etc.

Helen, David and Family,

We are so very saddened to learn that Patrick has passed. We only met him that one time on Mother's Day this year at Cotton Hill Concerts. He talked enthusiastically, about his career and family. It was an honor to have met him and we know you are so proud of him. His light has passed to many. May your grief lessen with time and his memories keep his spirit with you always. Please know you all are in our hearts. With Sympathy, Ken and Shelley

Moose, despite being half our ages, you somehow managed to hang with a shop full of salty dog, smack-talking, over-the-hill, retirees. Kept us on our toes, and we loved you for it. We'll always remember you fondly. RIP, young man. -Phil, Dave, Allen & Shane

David & Helen:

Was shocked and saddened, to read about Patrick. So young and had such a wonderful life. Thanking him for his service; and donating so others may enjoy their lives. I lost a son at 15 and a daughter at 47; so know how painful this is for you. I worked at MMC, with Helen. God Bless you, in this time of sorrow.

Dave, Helen and family. I can't image your loss. I often think of the risk of riding since all my boys and Paul and I do it often. You taught him to be adventurous, not sit by and let life go in around him. We have to leave some things to higher powers because there is no way to take care of it all on our own. Bless your family and Patrick.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Moose,
I had the great honor of serving as Patrick's commanding officer at the 898th Munitions Squadron from 2014-2016. Mrs. Moose, I remember sitting next to you at Patrick's Airman Leadership School graduation and it was very clear to all that you were very proud of your son. I want you to know that I was very proud of him too and it was a true privilege to watch him develop into an outstanding noncommissioned officer and leader of Airmen.

My family and I are praying for you and your family at this difficult time.

Lt Col Mike Power, USAF
Former Commander, 898th Munitions Squadron

David, Sue and I are heartbroken to hear of your loss. To many times young lives are taken leaving us to question why. We also share a coomon ground as we have two sons that have served their country, one of which is still in. I don't believe I ever met Patrick but I salute him for his dedication to life and country. Dear Moose family:

I was Patrick's commander at the 898th Munitions Squadron from 2012-2014. I wanted you to know that Patrick was a truly great fellow Airman. I'm so sad, hearing of his loss.

I remember talking to him quite often at work. I also enjoyed chatting and joking around with he and his friends at the base club (all of us enjoying a beer together, of course).

He was very close with his peers and well-respected by all, especially me. I knew I could count on him and cared for him very much. I hope you find some comfort in knowing he served in a way that made us all very proud.

My sincerest condolences,

Andrew Hackleman (Lt Col, retired)
