Sarah McCarrel Obituary

Sarah Lee McCarrel, 90 of Pawnee passed away Thursday, May 3 , 2018 at Carlinville Hospital.

She was born Feb. 13, 1928 in Springfield, IL the daughter of William and Bessie Marie Sims Hunter.

Surviving are three children, Gary Lee (Betty) McCarrel, Nancy McCarrel, and Debbie (Dan Kerhlikar) McCarrel; six grandchildren, ShiLynn, Jess, Ashley, Dustin, Samantha, and Riley; two great grandchildren, Mica and Lincoln; one sister, Lillian Pratte; several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be held from 4 till 7 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2018 at Firefighters Postal Club, 940 West Lake Drive, Springfield, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Animal Protective League, 1001 Trainor Rd., Springfield, IL 62702.
