Robert "Bob" E. Fielding

Robert “Bob” E. Fielding, 82, of Auburn passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born March 1, 1937 in Springfield, the son of Edward and Ursula Jones Fielding.

He married Martha Porter in 1997.

He served as pilot in the U.S. Airforce for 25 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.  He liked his cars.

Surviving are his wife, Martha; three sons, Brian (Naureen), Gregory, and Douglas (Debbie); one daughter, Michelle (Kenneth) Truedale; three grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9am till time of services at 10am, Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn with Rev. Nick Cook officiating.  Graveside services will be held at 11am, Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield with military honors conducted by Sangamon County Interveterans Burial Detail.
