Rayvella Gardner

Rayvella Gardner, 81, of Auburn passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at Auburn Nursing and Rehab.

She was born November 19, 1935 in Mt Vernon the daughter of Albert and Lola Orrick Austin. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Morris Austin and her twin, Ray Austin, two sisters, Rexine Jones and Shirley Sergent, and a granddaughter, Jessica.

She was an active member of the Auburn Church of God for over 50 years. She was recently a member of Prairie Temple Assembly. She worked with the Auburn Ambulance Squad in the 70’s and 80’s.

Surviving are her husband, Norman, four children, Collene (Jon) Reynolds, of St. Clair, MO, Leland (Sue) Gardner of Auburn, Rick (Vicki) Gardner of Auburn, and Mark (Judy) Gardner of Springfield; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one brother, Bob Austin, of Springfield; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn. Services will be Friday at the Funeral Home at 10 a.m. with Pastor Terry Turner and Rev. Timothy Moats officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.
