Ralph White

Ralph White, 84, of Auburn went to be in the arms of Jesus Sat. April 8, 2017 at St. John’s Hospital.

He was born Nov. 10, 1932 in Smithfield, the son of Ralph and Eula White.  He was preceded in death by one son, Randy and one brother, Harold.

Ralph married Phyllis L. Rogers-Brown on March 12, 1976 at First Baptist Church in Bushnell, IL.

He retired from St. John’s Hospital, Fiat-Allis and Hope Institute.  Ralph was a member of Auburn Church of the Nazarene for over 40 years.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis; seven children, Judy Cook of Tucson, AZ, Robert White of Petersburg, VA, Joyce Driskill of Taylorville, Trevor (Amy) White of Auburn, Lynn (Dale) Rutherford of Auburn, Charles Brown of Chicago, John (Teresa) Brown of Virden; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. till time of services at 2:30 p.m., Wed. April 12, 2017 at the Auburn Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Walter Sheets officiating.  Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Auburn Church of the Nazarene.
