Norman L. Koehler

Norman L. Koehler, 82, of Auburn passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 19, 1936, the son of Norman J. and Ellen Koehler.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, John Koehler, son, Norman (Rusty) Koehler and infant daughter, Cynthia Lea Koehler.

Norman married his high school sweetheart, Bonnie Luecke on November 24, 1956.

Norman loved his family, music, fishing, animals and playing poker with family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Bonnie; two daughters, Candace Koehler Alexander and Kathi Koehler Leepper both of Springfield; grandson, Paul Koehler and granddaughter, Andrea Alexander.

According to his wishes, cremation rites were accorded and a graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Oak Grove Cemetery located west of Virden, IL on Nine Mile Lane at 1:00 pm.
