Normadine Johnson, 93 of Auburn passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born April 18, 1925 in Morrisonville, the daughter of Leonard and Eula Prose.
She married Alvin E. Johnson on July 2, 1943 and he preceded her in death in Oct. 1987. She was preceded by her parents; one brother, Lawrence Prose; one sister, Claire Mae Weber; son-in-law, Larry Snell and grandson-in-law, Christopher Tedeschi.
She retired from the State of Illinois. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for 58 years. She was a seamstress and was known for her love of flowers. Normadine loved her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Snell and Linda LeMieux; seven grandchildren, Robbin Tedeschi, Lesley (Todd) Savage, Kara Leonardo, Rebecca Wilson, Melissa LeMieux, Amy (Jodie) Dickerson, Katrina LeMieux (R.J. Stumpf); 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Bill Prose; three sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. till 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 8, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Auburn. Additional visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. till time of services at 10:30 a.m. at the church with Rev. Martin Kaufmann officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.
