Leon Demyer Morris, 76, of Sullivan formerly of Divernon passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019 at Heritage Health in Mt. Zion.
He was born July 31, 1943 in Amarillo, TX, the son of Carl and Mary Norris Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles Turley and Edwin Morris; one nephew, Joseph Turley.
He served in the U.S. Airforce. He served on the Auburn Ambulance and Volunteer Auburn Fire Department. He was a truck driver all his life and retired from ABF Trucking. He was a member of American Legion Post 68.
Surviving are his daughters, Rhonda (Rob) Spencer of Sherman and Michelle (Elvis) Tomlin of Thayer; grandchildren, Austin Spencer, James Tomlin and Brittany Tomlin; four great-grandchildren; several nephews; companion, Peggy Daily of Sullivan.
Cremation rites were accorded.
Visitation will be from 5pm till time of memorial services at 7pm, Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019 at Bramley Funeral Home, Divernon with Rev. Chuck Kurfman officiating.
