Jerry Ackerman Obituary

Jerry Ackerman, 76 of Virden passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018 at his home.

He was born Jan. 28, 1942 in Springfield the son of Rudolph and Fern Robinson Ackerman. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Norma Jane Palmer.

Jerry married Judy Hunley on Aug. 17, 1963 in Auburn.

Surviving are his wife, Judy; one daughter, Javonna Ackerman of Virden; one son, Jerry T. Ackerman of Phoenix, AZ; and five grandchildren.

Cremation rites were accorded.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
