James D. Rhodes

James D. Rhodes, 68 of Divernon passed away April 18, 2018 at Blessing Hospital, Quincy.

He was born March 25, 1950 in Springfield the son of John and Efrossine Dulakis Rhodes.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John “Bud” Rhodes.

He married JoAnn Bird on Sept. 23, 1972.

Surviving are his wife, JoAnn; two sons, Jeffrey (Christine) Rhodes and Jason (Carla) Rhodes; one daughter, Julie (fiancé, Joseph Teiko) Rhodes; five grandchildren; one sister, Carol (John)  Duval; one brother, Donald (Debbie) Rhodes; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. till time of services at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Bramley Funeral Home, Divernon with Rev. Chuck Kurfman officiating.  Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery in Divernon with military honors conducted by Auburn VFW and American Legion.

Memorials may be made to Divernon Sportsmen’s Club.
