Dorothy E. Landrey

Dorothy E. Landrey, 91 of Pawnee passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 18, 1925 in Pawnee, the daughter of Clarence and Mabel Chambers Flinn.

 She married Howard Landrey, Sr.  and he preceded her in death.  Also preceded in death by one brother, George Flinn.

Dorothy enjoyed reading, knitting and doing crossword puzzles.  She knitted chemo caps and newborn caps, then donated them to Memorial Medical Center.

Surviving are one son, Howard (Sharon) Landrey, Jr. of Pawnee; two daughters, Mary (Rich) Coon of Pekin and Janet (Ernest) Pickett of Pawnee; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Horse Creek Cemetery, Pawnee Food Panty, or the Pawnee United Methodist Church.

Private graveside services were held on March 6, 2017.
