Don was a great supporter of the Illinois and national AgrAbility programs. His testimony before congress and his support of developing an AgrAbility program in Illinois in the late 80's helped form the program. He served as chair of our Illinois AgrAbility advisory committee for many years and as honorary chair most recently. He also served on the national AgrAbility advisory committee for several years. Through Don's foresight, advice and support thousands of farm people have benefited from assistance through the program. Everyone who knew Don was aware of his support of AgrAbility. He alao liked to laugh and loved a good practical joke. He was a great mentor to me and those of us directly involved with the program. We can never replace him and he leaves a legacy of support in seeking ways to help farmers and farm workers who were dealing with some type of disability so they could continue to provide for their families and be as productive as possible.

Kim & David so sorry to hear of the loss you are going through. Don was a great inspiration to me as a child and every time I saw him he was always smiling and happy to speak to me. Condolences to you and your family.

On behalf of the entire Watson (Bud/Leona) family we want to extend our sympathy to Don's family. All of us have always felt we were part of the extended family for the Skinners. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
