Dennis L. Powell

Dennis L. Powell, 58, of Springfield passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born March 6, 1959 in Springfield, the son of John and Justine Atchison Powell.

Surviving are one sister, Marsha Powell of Springfield; two brothers, Chester (Barb) Powell of Elmwood and Ivan (Connie) Powell of Illiopolis; several nieces and nephews; his dogs, Mr. Mack, Ms. Sally and Luigi.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. Wed., April 12, 2017 at Bramley Funeral Home, Divernon with Rev. Chuck Kurfman officiating.  Cremation will follow the services and inurnment will be at a later date at Cumberland Sugar Creek Cemetery, Glenarm.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
