Billie F. Allen

Billie F. Allen, 88 of Auburn passed away Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Village, Girard.

She was born Aug. 7, 1929 in Omaha, TX, the daughter of Oreta Harvey

She married Robert L. Allen on Oct. 3, 1945 and he preceded her in death on June 22, 2005.

Billie worked for the City of Auburn for many years. She later worked for State Bank of Auburn for over 20 years. She was a member of the Auburn Baptist Church and Auburn Lion’s Club.

Surviving are one son, Michael Allen of Auburn; one daughter, Jill (Jeff) Lawson of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Jamie Allen of Auburn and Marissa (Kyle) Watson of Chapin, SC; 4 great-grandchildren, Brock and Riley Cummings, Faith Allen, and Emsley Watson; one brother, Jerry (Sheron) Harvey of Mt. Pleasant, TX; a niece, Amie Giddens and nephew, Mack Harvey.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017 at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn with Rev. Amy Bickel officiating.  Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.

Memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Memory Care C Hall or Auburn Baptist Church.
