Minnie Rose Fomera Obituary

Minnie Rose Fomera, 96 of Auburn passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at her home.

She was born May 20, 1924 in Auburn, the son of Anton and Antonia Tappera Berola.

Rose married Wenzel “Bob” Fomera on May 8, 1945 in St. Louis. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2011. Also, preceded in death by son, Tyre R. Fomera on Sept. 11, 2020.

She worked at Dickey-john for 10 years.

Surviving are her daughter, Sandra Lee Riccitelli of Troy; son, William Mark Fomera of Auburn; 6 grandchildren, Todd, Guy and Heath Brummett and Jacques, Logan and Chelsea Fomera; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Private family graveside services will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
