Phyllis June Emerson

Phyllis June Emerson, 85, of Spaulding, formerly of Divernon passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 at her home.

She was born on Feb. 22, 1934 in Monticello, KY, the daughter of Cecil and Dolly Russell Roark.

June married William Dale and he preceded her in death in Nov. 1983.  Also, preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Hazel Barnes.

Surviving are her daughter, Virginia “Ginny” (Craig) Eckhart of Spaulding; three grandchildren, Tracy Wofford of Springfield, Zachary (Kristen) Eckhart of Sherman and Jacob (Caitlin) Eckhart of Kellogg, Idaho; four great-grandchildren, Pierson Wofford, Addison Wofford, Montgomery Eckhart and Emerson Eckhart; one brother, Eldon (Leah) Roark of Virden; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11am, Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019 at Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon with Rev. Melissa Ebken officiating.
