Bill Auvenshine Obituary

Bill Auvenshine of Morrisonville passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019.  He was born November 15, 1953. 

Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  Bill passed away peacefully in his sleep, in his own bed and on his own terms.  His last day was spent with family and his mutt Champ. 

Bill was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed rock climbing, camping and hiking.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He rode Harleys and was a journeyman drywaller up until an accident in 1995 that left him paraplegic.

Bill was a grandmaster in taekwondo and he and his wife have owned and operated Auvenshine’s Taekwondo in Auburn for the past 22 years.

He is preceded in death by his mother Catherine, and his brothers Larry and Steve.  He is survived by his wife Patty, his daughter Amber (Ken), his grandchildren Dakota, Jenna, Gavin and Madisyn, his siblings Ron (Maureen), Sherry (Gary), Diane, Sue (Joe), Harold (Colette), and Ken (Marie).

Friends may call Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn. A luncheon will follow the Memorial Service at Holy Cross Parish Hall, 125 Washington St., Auburn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Miami Project to Cure Paralysis.
