He was born April 2, 1947 in Springfield, the son of Alex and Marie Wooderchak Smith.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David and James. John William Stroisch, Jr. 80 of Virden, formerly of Auburn, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026 at McLean County Nursing Home in Normal. He was born January 20, 1946 in Springfield, the son of John W. and Dorothy L. Knight Stroisch, Sr.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bobby and Terry Stroisch.
