Steven Mundhenke, 63 of Springfield passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at his home surrounded by his wife and sons.
He was born February 22, 1961 in Hillsboro, the son of Verne and Joan White Mundhenke. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Steve married Jill Stivers in 1984.
He was a loan officer at First National Bank. He farmed the family farm his whole life with his father and brother. He was a lifelong St Louis Cardinals and Blues fan. Steve was a devoted father and grandfather (Pops) never missing a game. He loved boating and family time.
Surviving are his wife, Jill; two sons, Kyle (Caroline) Mundhenke and Alan (Sarah) Mundhenke; four grandchildren, Evan, Owen, Norah and Emilia; five siblings, Janeece Robertson, Cindy (Mike) Murphy, Debbie (Terry) Agans, Pam (Todd) Tarr and Scott (Jodi) Mundhenke; mother-in-law, Carol Haubold; many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be from 4pm till 7pm, Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Bramley Funeral Home, 150 Reichert Rd, Divernon. Funeral service will be held 10:30am, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pawnee.
