Nancy H. Emerson

Nancy H. Emerson, 78 of Divernon passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at St. John’s Hospital.

She was born February 4, 1946.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ward and grandmother, Lizzie Ward.

Nancy married Richard Emerson on November 2, 1968. 

Nancy was a beautician for over 30 years until her retirement.  She worked at Kohl’s after her retirement. She was an active member of Divernon High School Band Boosters for 25 years.  Nancy enjoyed word searches, crime TV, spending time with her grandchildren and her loving husband of 55 years.

Surviving are her husband, Richard; five children, Tamara (Andy Edmonds) Jordan,  Brent Emerson, Rick (Jennifer) Emerson, Jamie Emerson, Shannon (Josh) Sonneborn; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several cousins.

Visitation will be from 5pm till 7pm, Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Bramley Funeral Home, 150 Reichert Rd.  Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Brush Creek Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Divernon Fire Department.
