Billie Gene Brown Obituary

Billie Gene Brown, 84 of Chatham passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Villas of Holly Brook in Chatham.

He was born January 20, 1940 in Xenia, IL, the son of Luther and Ruth Sweeney Brown.

Billie married Roberta Miller on June 20, 1964. He was preceded in death by 12 siblings.

He served in the US Army from 1961 to 1963. He was a heavy machine operator for Local 965.

Surviving are his wife, Roberta; six children, Cheryl Brown, Roger Brown, Tammy Deheve, Terri (Jimmy) Turner, Linda Spyres, Diana Lewis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Nadine Shelton; several nieces and nephews.

Cards may be sent to Villas of Holly Brook, 825 E. Walnut St, Chatham, IL 62629.

Cremation rites were accorded.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.
