William C. "Bill" Gibson

William C. “Bill” Gibson, 69, of Springfield passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

He was born Oct. 14, 1948 in Springfield, the son of Robert William and Mary Catherine Motley Gibson and they preceded him in death.

Bill was the former owner of the Standard station in Pawnee and was a retired dock worker from A.B.F.  He loved to hunt and fish.

Surviving are two sisters, Anna Holder and Patricia Gibson; one brother, Mike (Kathy Kern) Gibson; companion, Maxine Johnson; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1pm till time of services at 2:30pm, Monday, April 9, 2018 at Bramley Funeral Home, Divernon with Rev. James Palakudy officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pawnee.

The family would like thank the nurses from St. John’s Hospice.
