Shirley J. Sutton

Shirley J. Sutton, 78 of Auburn passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at her home.

She was born Sept. 18, 1938 in Springfield, the daughter of George and Marie Morose Johnson.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie “Causie” Johnson.

Shirley worked for Dickey-john and Illini Technology retiring from John Deere.

Surviving are one son, Todd (Janet) Sutton of Naperville; two daughters, Renee Skibinski of Geneva and Tina Sutton of Virden; four grandchildren; two sisters, Dolores Leaderbrand of Springfield and Eleanor Dodegge; several nieces and nephews. 

Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 12 noon till 5 p.m. at Edgewood Golf Club, 16497 Kennedy Rd, Auburn, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Auburn Food Pantry.
