Roger D. Gill

Roger D. Gill, 69, of Springfield passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017 at his home.

Roger was born July 2, 1947 in Quincy, the son of William and Barbara Kelley Gill. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jeanne, and two siblings, Richard and Angie.

Roger served in the U.S. Army and was a corvette enthusiast. He was a beloved brother, father, uncle, grandfather and friend and will be remembered by many. 

Surviving are his son, Daniel (Andrea) Gill; five grandchildren, Dylan, Gwen, Han, Piper, and Varian; two brothers, Mike and Russel (Susan) Gill; two sisters, Lynda Richmiller and Kathy McClish; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at Bramley Funeral Home in Divernon with Deacon Denny Baker officiating. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery.
