Patrick E. Cain

Patrick E. Cain, 48 of Auburn passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born July 9, 1969 in Springfield, the son of John and Mettie Cox Cain III. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kevin.

Patrick received his teaching degree from Sangamon State University and a Masters in Educational Administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield. He taught at Auburn High School for 14 years. Prior to that he taught at Rochester and spoke at numerous area schools as a motivational speaker. Patrick was the Co-Director of the Illinois Teen Institute and coordinated Operation Snowball, a teen leadership program.

Surviving is his wife, Sarah.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. till 7 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Darin Cabell officiating. Burial will be in Chatham Memorial Cemetery.
