Marjorie "Margie" J. McVickers

Marjorie “Margie” J. McVickers, 84 of Williamsville passed away Sat., July 29, 2017 at Heritage Health, Springfield.

She was born June 12, 1933 in Springfield, the daughter of Herman and Birdie Muench.

She married Lawrence “Burr” McVickers on Oct. 15, 1955 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 2010.  Also preceded in death by one sister, Edna Cravens.

Margie worked at the Williamsville State Bank for many years.  She was a member of Williamsville United Methodist Church and the Williamsville Methodist Quilters.  She volunteered for Meals on Wheels, at the Vet Clinic and was a pet sitter for people in the community.  She was the Township Treasurer for over 30 years.

Surviving are one son, Carey (Beth) McVickers of Williamsville; three grandchildren, Sarah (Chris) Bramley Jones, Ryan (Lindsey) McVickers and Tyler (Heather) Bramley; five great-grandchildren, Alexis, Addison, Teyvin, Charleigh and Kaiya; one brother, Eldon (Liz) Muench.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. till time of services at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Williamsville United Methodist Church with Rev. Dick Piscatelli.  Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Williamsville.
