Kevin L. Burg

Kevin L. Burg, 60, of Auburn passed away, Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016 after a long battle with MS.

He was born on June 19, 1956 in Springfield, the son of Louis Burg and Carol Payne.

Kevin worked in construction and was employed with Landmark and Crossroads Ford.  He enjoyed carpentry, riding his Harley, and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball. He served as a member of the 114th Infantry Regiment Illinois Volunteers (Reactivated).

Kevin is survived by his father Louie (Gayle Ann) Burg; mother, Carol (Lew) Carroll; son, Danny Burg; daughter, Jamie (Mike) Mullenix; two grandchildren; brother, Kenny Burg; sister, Karen (Ron) Alewelt; one uncle; two aunts; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and members of the Carroll family.

A Celebration of Life will be from 1 p.m. till time of services at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Parkway Christian Church, Springfield.

Memorials may be made to the MDA Chapter of Central IL or Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
