Joan M. Brown Richardson

Joan M. Brown Richardson, 92, of Sherman, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017 at St. John’s Hospice.

She was born April 25, 1924 in Liverpool, England the daughter of Evan and Jane Aughton.

She married Gearl Eldon Brown in 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1957. She then married Earl Richardson and he preceded her in death in 1986. Also preceded in death by one grandson, Tanner L. Brown in 1996.

Surviving are two sons, Barry (Debra N.) Brown of Sherman and Jerry (Belinda) Brown of St. Louis, MO; five grandchildren, Christopher, Elliot, Stephanie, Madeline, and Melaney; and two great granddaughters, Lily and Aleena.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. till time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at Bramley Funeral Home, Divernon with Rev. Chuck Kurfman officiating.  Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
