Imogene King

Imogene King, 86, of Springfield passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at Heritage Health, Springfield.

She was born April 23, 1930 in Glenarm the daughter of Hobert and Eva Turner King. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Homer, two sisters in law, and one brother in law.

Imogene graduated from Divernon High School in 1948. She worked for the State Retirement System for 35 years until her retirement. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Springfield and the Pawnee Eastern Star.

Surviving are two sisters, Eva Mae (Robert) Blaum of Divernon and Barbara Wiles of Springfield; two brothers, Robert King of Pawnee and Franklin King of Port Richey, FL; and several nieces and nephews who knew her as Aunt Jean.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn. Private graveside services will be at Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee.
