Harry L. Reavis

Harry L. Reavis, 87 of Divernon passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 8, 1929 in Chandlerville, the son of Harry and Estalee Waterfield Reavis.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Phyllis, and one grandson, Neil.

Harry married Dorla Shores in 1953.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War earning 3 Bronze Stars.  He loved cars especially red.

Surviving are his wife, Dorla; two daughters, Christy (Jim) Leahy of Glenarm and Rhonda (Artie) Lennon of Greenleaf, WI; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim Reavis; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, May 20, 2017 with a graveside service immediately following at Brush Creek Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Kurfman officiating.

Memorials may be made to Divernon Township Library.
