G. Irene "Sis" Gresham

G. Irene “Sis” Gresham, 64, of Auburn, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at St. John’s Hospice.
She was born September 28, 1948 in Springfield the daughter of James and Eunice Tucker January, Sr. She married Tom Gresham on October 28, 1992. She was preceded in death by her father, one daughter, Pamela Sue and one brother, James January, Jr.
Sis worked for the State of Illinois for 33 ½ years retiring in 2008. She served at lead operator in the Data Capture Unit and was very helpful training new staff.
Surviving are her husband, Tom; one son, Ronald (fiancée, Rita) Petty of Glendale AZ; one granddaughter, Danielle; her mother, Eunice January; four sisters, Mary Bordner, Barbara Neal, Patsy (Greg) Stratton and Dottie January; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. till time of services at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn, with Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon.
