I’m very sorry for your loss. I lived three doors down on Holmes Ave and considered “Eddie” my best friend for six years until my family moved east in February 1966. I always felt welcome in the Beard home, and although I lost track of Eddie over the ensuing years, it warms my heart to read that he was well thought of and went on to have a large family.

Bob and I want to express our sincere sympathy and sorrow at our family's loss. Ed was certainly a one of a kind handsome and kind hearted man who lived life fully. His witty sense of humors was infectious. He was so proud of you as a husband,father and grandfather. It is sad that we should lose him so early in life,but we are fortunate that he left us such a wonderful legacy through you! We love you all so much!

To all of you....what a shock for us all. we are so sorry for the loss of Ed. He was a great friend for so many years. We will miss him dearly. We have so many great memories to look back on. We hope that all your memories will help heal your heart during this sad time. You know we are always here for you all. Love to you all from all of us.
